EYE DAY CLINIC houses a department which focuses exclusively on ocular inflammation. The department’s specialized team investigates and treats inflammations ranging from the simpler types which affect the surface of the eye to the more severe types affecting the back of the eye called fundus.
Uveitis usually appears suddenly with symptoms of pain, redness of the eyes and blurred vision.
The symptoms of uveitis are:
- Blurred vision
- Lacrimation
- Pain
- Floaters
- Eye redness
- Light sensitivity
Once symptoms appear, a full eye examination is necessary; this can be performed by the ophthalmologists in our department. You may be asked to undergo a series of tests to establish whether there is a systemic condition associated with the uveitis. These tests will also help in the decision for treatment.
Info
Do not hesitate to contact your ophthalmologist if eye redness persists for a long period.
