Medication
Medication is the most commonly used type of treatment for glaucoma. One category of medicines aims at the reduction of the production of the aqueous humour and another at the increase of the outflow.
Depending on the treatment protocol used, these categories may be either used as a combined course of treatment or a single monotherapy.
