Retimax Ocular Electrophysiology – CSO
CSO Retimax Ocular Electrophysiology
The Retimax is the latest device for early detection of glaucoma (CSO pending). It performs an objective examination based on the electrophysiology of the eye which is useful for the functional evaluation of retinal cells.
It is a complete electrophysiological system, capable of performing electroretinography (ERG), with “Flash” and “Flicker” stimulation, Pattern ERG (PERG), visual evoked potentials in occipital lobe “VEP” with “Flash” and “Pattern” stimulation, as well as SWEP ERG, electrooculography “EOG” with automatic “Arden Ration” operational protocol, electronystagmography (ENG).
It uses cutting edge technology and can provide statistical data about patient age for ERG, PERG, VEP and EOG; furthermore, it is equipped with a portable “Miniganfield” dome for ERG and VEP and is ideal for children or bedridden patients, as well as for “Multifocal” ERG, PERG and VEP.
